Antique English Mahogany Secretary Bookcase – Circa 1790

Crafted in England around 1790, this elegant George III mahogany secretary bookcase showcases fine inlay, rich figured veneers, and classic Georgian style. The upper cabinet features glazed doors (glass missing) with intricate astragal muntins and three fixed shelves, ideal for books or display.

The lower section includes a fall-front writing surface with a fitted interior of small drawers and cubbies, a long drawer below, and a two-door cabinet for extra storage. Oval inlays echo the glazing above, and shaped bracket feet complete the design.
