CUSTOM IRON KING BED FRAME

This custom iron bed was made by a local Memphis metalsmith. It is a king size bed and is finished in black with gilt details. Each of the 4 posts are topped by gilt acanthus leaves. It is in excellent condition. The only flaw is the small gilt detail for the center of the footboard broke off. The owner did not replace it but has the piece. It could be rewelded or stay as is. Where it fell off she has covered it in a black tape. It could also just be filled and painted. It measures 90"H and 78"W. The footboard measures 38"H. The original price was $4000. The last 2 pictures show where the missing piece was originally.
