JEANNE SEAGLE OIL PASTEL LANDSCAPE
This beautiful oil pastel on canvas piece was painted by Memphian Jeanne Seagle. She is a graduate of the Memphis College of Art. She created the 16 foot glass mosaic sculpture at the entrance of LeBonheur and an outdoor sculpture at St. Jude.. Her pieces are in the Mayor's Office in City Hall, Methodist Midtown and her mosaics decorate South Main and one of the Trolley Stops. This landscape was used on the River Arts Fest poster in 2015. This painting is typical of her works of landscapes and especially the Missisippi River and the Dacus Lake area. It measures 39" by 27".
